I recently dusted off my old PS3 and ran it for a while to make sure everything works as I was planning on selling it. Everything was in tip top shape so i proceeded to delete some stuff from game data utility and saved game data to clear up some space (but while doing this the ps3 would sometimes temporarily freeze (for a while though not long freezes but like one-two sec freezes)) so it was not as tip top shaped as i imagined. After that I shut the thing down and as it turns off, that beeping noise came. That triple beep sound.

I know that sound i thought. Something went wrong must be. I turned it back on, and after a while waiting it came on bearing the message 'file system is corrupt, press OK to restore settings' so I pressed OK and all was running smoothly until it hit 40% where it began to slow down and it stopped at 44%. I don't know what happened but I waited anyway to see if it would continue on again. It shuts down automatically and [triple beep sound] turned back on again by itself and then said 'file system corrupt press OK to restore settings' oh this again i thought.

What the hell. I pressed OK again and it was running smoothly until it hit 40% again and it came slowing down and stopped at 44%. 300zx Electric Fan Install on this page. It continued slowly and actually gotthrough to 45% but then it shuts down again.

I just turned it off after that, through the on/off button on the ps3 itself. What happened to the ps3? Can I repair it? My ps3 is the slim version if that helps. Thanks in advance • • • • •. I had this issue with my slim when I deleted my Resistance 3 game data.
