Silicon Image Linux Driver/ Download Preactivated Version
I'm planning on upgrading my system from WinXP to W7x32 this weekend. My WinXP installation, however, is on a RAID -0- configured setup running from the Silicon Image 1332 Raid chip on an ASUS A7N8X mainboard. I expect as part of installing W7 I'll have to come up with a driver in order to get W7 to install on the RAID -0- drive. However, I can't find one anywhere.
I'm given to understand that Windows 7 will support the Raid -0- setup on this chip and that there is a driver for it somewhere. Can anyone help? If I just run Windows 7 upgrade from inside my XP setup and download the updated setup files will the driver be included in that? I really want to keep windows running on my RAID -0- setup instead of putting it the IDE drive I currently use for Data storage. I have exact same issue! Silicon Image has a driver for windows 7 but the install doesn't recognize it as a 'signed' driver.
