Hi all, I've really digged up the internet and I just want to install a proper video driver for CentOS 6.2. Bbai wrote: Add some other questions. Why there's no command `system-config-display` in CentOS 6.2? I want to create a xorg.conf file by this command, but it seems not possible. See - original title was 'No system-config-display limits achievable resolution'. It seems has changed it to 'KMS needs more complete default mode list when no EDID present' for reasons as inexplicable to me as why they removed the component in the first place, and refuse to consider its return.

No idea about the reason for the core dump. Please show: lspci -nn grep -i vga Better yet, by running './getinfo.sh' and showing us the output file.

Thanks for your suggestion! I'll try to search the src code. Cach Crack Game Insaniquarium Deluxe. After these days learning, I've got more understanding of xorg.conf.

From the Xorg.0.log, I think the key problem is, VESA will search for matching VESA mode. [ 1400.901] (II) VESA(0): Searching for matching VESA mode(s). But the highest resolution mode can only be 1280*768. So later it set the VESA Mode: [ 1400.958] (II) VESA(0): Setting up VESA Mode 0x11E (1280x768) I set virtual size = 1280*800: [ 1400.922] (**) VESA(0): Virtual size is 1280x800 (pitch 1280) I think maybe that's why it's like putting 1280*800 on a 1280*768's screen. If I can get a proper opensrc code for sis671/771, I'll send it to ELREpo, and let you know the results.
