• WinRami – 2.5 D frame and truss design • Ruukki cold formed hollow sections, welded and hot rolled I-sections • Static analysis and section forces • Local truss welded connection design • Structural fire design • Calculation results • Codes: B7 (Fin), EN 1993 Eurocode, BSK (Swe) • Software license automatic registration • Automatic latest version check • Languages: Finnish, English • Windows XP/Vista/7 GENERAL With the WinRami software, the user can perform structural analysis and design of steel constructions made from tubular hollow section and/or for welded or hot rolled I-sections. In the Section software, there are tables containing the dimensions of all cold formed hollow section construction tubes manufactured by Rautaruukki Oyj. Additionally, WinRami includes two joint design modules: • Liicont is used for truss connections between a chord and a bracing member • Momcont, correspondingly, is used for the moment-resistant connection between a column and a beam, both made from hollow sections WinRami also includes component software modules for various detailed design purposes. These are: • Palo0x (x = no. Of fire protection material) for fire protection (painting) calculation • Paaty for end/support stiffeners of I-sections • Jaykiste for longitudinal or/and transverse stiffeners of I-sections • Aukko for web openings of I-sections WinRami, Section, and the connection modules are so-called component applications.

They are linked to each other with Microsoft Windows OLE-2 linking techniques. WinRami also includes macro model creation tools. With these tools, roof trusses (KT- and N- trusses) can be designed very rapidly and effectively. The designer has to input only a few parameters (span, height, etc.) to define the truss and WinRami automatically creates the structural model, adds loads and load combinations, and also defines preliminary truss connections. The designer only has to choose (drag and drop) the desired sections for the model from the Section software or he/she can use special macro tool to add section sets to selected truss. For defining the truss connection cap (g), there is a macro called ‘Cap zone’.

The cap zone macro goes through the desired range (default: 20–60 mm) at the step indicated (default: 4 mm) and shows, with coloured bars (red = not OK, green = OK), all acceptable ranges of cap values. This macro checks all kinds of joints (Y and KT/KN) and is capable of changing a joint in the WinRami model to two separate Y-joints if it cannot be made as a KT/KN joint. BASES OF DESIGN The construction model created by the user is solved with the general element method. The beam element used by WinRami has seven degrees of freedom. With this kind of element, it is also possible to take into account the displacement of the neutral axis occurring in cross section class 4.

DESIGN CODES WinRami does not depend on the design code chosen. The design code is always selected in the component application (e.g. Cara Men Game Gameloft Secara Gratis. At present, it is possible to select either EN-1993-1-1 or B7 for the design of tubular hollow sections and EN-1993-1-1 for design of I-sections in the Section software.

Design of welded structural hollow section truss connections is done according to formulae in the standard EN-1993-1-8. LANGUAGES There are two language versions of this software, Finnish and English. Language can be selected during the installation and it can be changed by using 'Change' option in Windows Conrol Panel's Add/Remove programs section. Eminem Straight From The Lab Torrent more. CALCULATION RESULTS It is possible to print traditional list of stresses, design conditions, and utilisation rates of hollow sections for the construction elements. Additionally, several freely selectable graphs showing the construction, node numbers, displacements, moments, dimensioning, etc.

Can be printed.

I was really hoping to get my hands on a a good truss software even if I had to shell out the big bucks. I contacted Miitek and Alpine and neither of them are willing to sell or lease their software to an architect or engineer.

Something about trusses becoming a commodity. Bottom line is there aren't a whole lot of decent truss calculators/designers out there. If you want a truss design you have to get a truss manufacturer to quote you on a job and generate the engineered plans.
