Upcoming Patch Notes Diablo 3
I don't use bots myself, but I don't see how they're bad for blizzard, if you were to charge a percentage based transaction fee for items, rather than a flat fee. They provide liquidity to the AH. If I want to get rid of an item quickly, I could price it below the market price, then a bot would buy it and resell it at the market price, or whatever they want.
Blizzard has now released the Diablo 3 2.5.0 patch onto the live servers. Quality of life changes and more in this update to Blizzard's ARPG.
Bot developers don't want to overprice items because they want them to sell. Also, it would be really nice if players had access to AH data. It would help so people could save time trying to figure what their items could sell for.
