Nice piece of kit I got this one a few weeks ago. The first thing that I noticed is that the grip is thicker/fatter than the perfectly sized GDX (impact drill from Bosch) grip. This was a little disappointing. In reality the drill feels very good in hand and works really well.
Sturdy, the hex bit holder runs true with no discernible wobble and the short length with drill chuck off came in handy the very first day. No more dropping bits and bit drills coming off like on Festool - huzzah for that. Drill chuck is hard plastic covered and grips well, attaches firm on the machine and drilling 50mm holes in solid oak was not a problem for the machine so power and handling gets top marks. It is a quality drill chuck. I think comparing it to the Milwaukee 12V drill is unfair - to the Milwaukee drill. The attachments and hex bit holder wobbles severely on the Milwaukee units I have seen so far. It is sturdy but simply not as well built as the Bosch drill.
I do like the Milwaukee drills but was not too impressed with the 12V kit. The elbow/angle attachment is better implemented on the Milwaukee. The Bosch drill will get an SDS adapter in April which will make it the most compact SDS hammer drill ever made - it is said to handle up to 10mm in concrete. Soundgarden Superunknown Rar.
My guess it will work quite alright but if you need to drill many holes, get the dedicated 18V hammer drill. The SDS attachment takes very little space so it could save the day by being with you, always.
Buying attachments separately? Autocad Terbaru Full Crack. I don't need the off set chuck and won't get the angle drill. They are reasonably priced but I will make do with the drill chuck and SDS chuck. Bare drill is priced nicely with the chuck as it is a top class machine. One point gets deducted from the score from Bosch on the following: Grip is good but not as good as the GDX.
Angle attachment with drill chuck? Only makes it longer. Better with a angle unit with hex bit holder, like Festool, Metabo/Mafell and Milwaukee. If you need to drill at that angle you can always slip on a drill chuck but it is better with a short right angle unit. Maybe Bosch will realize this and produce another right angle unit as well, choice is good. With a better grip and a 'better' angle/elbow attachment it would have been five solid stars. A solid four it is as it sits now.
